Best of 2004: soundtrack - wicker park
it's really rare that soundtracks are good these days. if it's not a collection of thrown out b-sides recorded by a-list artists, then it's current hits licensed to make a quick buck for record labels and their sub-standard catalog. but to my surprise, the soundtrack to the shit film 'wicker park' is a complete joy from beginning to end. comprimised of many acts that i've been listening to over the past 15 months, this could easily be a mix i put together.
with everyone from death cab for cutie to the stills to snow patrol to mazzy star to aqualung to iron and wine, this is easily the best soundtrack of 2004 (followed closely by garden state).

Iron and Wine is not on Wicker Park soundtrack. You confused it with Garden State. I am a big fan of the soundtrack myself, an had to debate so much on whether the film deserved attention. Just to make sure you knew.
